Reading - Opinions about Child Abuse

For creating work this week, I had to gather people’s opinions about Child Abuse. I created a Google form and sent it to some of the teachers in the school, and I got two opinions back. 

Mrs Tofa said “Child abuse is a very big issue in NZ. Many times we see on the news that children are hurt or even killed as a cause of child abuse or neglect. There are laws in NZ regarding child abuse but people are breaking this law. Society needs to change and families need to look after their children and make sure they are in a safe and happy environment.” 

Mrs Moopanar said “ I am really sorry for the children that are abused and I think that the government should take stronger action about this.”
